From one gleaming white mountain to another.
It’s honestly crazy that you can transition to an entirely different world in about 24 hours.

Time to head home, but not before having one last kahvi ja pulla whilst admiring a Finnair jet.

Vappu in Finland. Costumes galore and a parade! This little guy, the only monkey in a family of bananas, was the best as he munched on his real banana.
Costa Rica (by noestim)
In a few days it will have been a year since I went to Costa Rica for the first time.
I can’t let it go much over a year right? I should go back pronto. Are we all in? COSTA RICA I MISS YOU.
(via puravidacr)
I see your normal, boring car windows and raise you car windows that magnify what’s outside, tell you the distance to things you’re passing on the road, translate words, and lets you draw on them with your finger.
Craziness man, craziness.
Yep, that’s Costa Rica for you.
We all split off for homestays one night with families in the village. Here I’m walking with my Costa Rican brother to help milk the cows. It was raining but the sun was still shining beautifully, so this bright rainbow was right in front of us the whole time. You just have to stop and laugh at times at the breathtaking scenes that are just laid out in front of you all the time. Something along the lines of “oh Costa Rica, stop showing off. You’ve already won me over.” But it keeps going anyway.
Oh and I’m totally going to add cow milking to my resume. Potential employers will not be able to turn that skill down.
My body’s back home, but my mind is still Pura Vida-ing in Costa Rica. That place, wow. It’s more incredible than I ever could have imagined.
If you ever have an opportunity to visit Costa Rica, by all means take it. It’s an experience that will both refresh and change you for the better. The Ticos really know how to live well.
