Friday the 20th: Rain and more rain, dressing up, Collector’s Evening for the High (we got 3rd place!), and a late dinner with some of the loveliest, most choke-on-your-water-with-laughter inducing ladies around.

Yep, that’s Costa Rica for you.
We all split off for homestays one night with families in the village. Here I’m walking with my Costa Rican brother to help milk the cows. It was raining but the sun was still shining beautifully, so this bright rainbow was right in front of us the whole time. You just have to stop and laugh at times at the breathtaking scenes that are just laid out in front of you all the time. Something along the lines of “oh Costa Rica, stop showing off. You’ve already won me over.” But it keeps going anyway.
Oh and I’m totally going to add cow milking to my resume. Potential employers will not be able to turn that skill down.
So far, starting at 8 AM, I’ve heard:
-Yelling.
-Laughing.
